The TEKNA FL620 heavy-duty flail mower is a professional machine designed for cutting dense and heavy grass up to approximately 1 metre in height. With a 60 cm cutting width and a powerful petrol engine, it is suitable for both flat terrain and sloping ground.
The machine is equipped with a Loncin 224 4-stroke petrol engine delivering 6.1 HP (4.5 kW), combined with a mechanical transmission featuring a worm-gear reduction system. The continuously variable speed control allows the operator to adjust the forward speed from 1.8 to 3.6 km/h according to the working conditions.
The cutting system consists of two overlapping blades positioned at 90° to each other, providing effective cutting and simultaneous shredding of the grass.
Traction is provided by robust 4.00-8″ Tractor tyres with a 16″ (41 cm) diameter. Optional 16-6.50 wider tyres can be fitted for more demanding slopes. The pivoting front wheels can also be locked when required to increase machine stability.
All controls are conveniently positioned on the handlebars, while the automatic safety brake immediately stops the machine when the forward-drive lever is released. The handlebars are height-adjustable and can be swivelled 45° to both the right and left, providing excellent ergonomics and manoeuvrability during operation.
